As an artist, I make collages from posters/posters found on the streets of Amsterdam. The posters tell the story of Amsterdam's nightlife. I use different types of typography to inspire me and turn it into new designs. The posters I find are glued to each other in different layers, I have to peel them layer by layer and discover new words and letters each time.
For me, it is essential that the history of Amsterdam's festive life can be read, and so I create in the collages a new and attractive modern atmosphere.
In fact, the collages are made in a democratic way, which means that you can read them from all sides and discover something different each time, such as nightlife and party life.
