“Roby” is the name under which I sign my artworks. My real name is Roberto Franco. I am an artist originally from Sitges, multidisciplinary, eclectic and multifaceted.

I use all the techniques that I have at my disposal to create my works like painting, sculpture, modelling ... with an exceptional technique, which added to my imagination, fantasy and sense of humor, I manage to reflect in each of my works.

Since I was a kid I drew, and I remember fondly, spending hours visualizing images that emerged from the stains on the tiles in my room. During high school, the cleaning lady used to scold me every day for drawing pictures on the desk.

At the end of COU, I completed a course in Advertising, Comics and Airbrushing at Escuela Joso, Barcelona. Then, thanks to a great friend of mine’s insistence, I went to the Massana School, where I was really lucky to meet some friends who are quite like myself.

I have always been fascinated by creativity and painting, by all the materials with which I can create, to materialize these thoughts or visualized ideas. Playing while learning gives me a sense of life.

I keep on enjoying every job and personal concerns that come my way.

I hope I will be able to keep on wearing down my pencils….
