Celia Jiménez Martín's work is built from this tension between what remains and what is lost. Between matter and memory. Between the landscape and what is no longer within it.

Her images do not document; rather, they graze. They approach the remnants—a crack, an object, a fragment of earth—as if something still pulsed within them. As if each surface held a story that never fully reveals itself.

In this gesture emerges a way of seeing that does not impose, but rather listens. A slow gaze, almost halted, that allows time to surface in things. The domestic, the natural, the seemingly insignificant, then acquire a different weight: that of what has been lived.
