I understand artistic practice as an inner drive, as a need for an instinctive expression, and I find in the pictorial support, the ideal setting where to pour that energy and objectify that cannot be explained through words, creating with my graphic-plastic resources a new imaginary of emotions, experiences and sensibilities, to share with the viewer.

I also understand the artistic event as a vehicle for self-knowledge and research. I work with unorthodox techniques, playing to break rules, without complexes, because above all, I need to have fun and get excited. This is the way to produce artwork full of poetry and connotations, even managing to capture the attention of the least susceptible viewer.

The work I present could be framed within a new lyrical and Materical abstraction, with Informalism and Neo-Expressionist reminiscences, although what characterizes my paintings the most, is their subtle details, designed to tune in with good vibrations and to achieve environments that invite spiritual recollection, in a happy and positive key.

In this recent work I also apply the experience of a long career as a teacher and as a multidisciplinary artist, returning to artistic activity loaded with knowledge, but more concerned with unlearning, seduced by magical thinking and intuition.
