In developing my pictorial career, I have approached human figuration from different perspectives. What they have in common is a motivation to capture the essence of the individual, either by understanding the individual as a container of emotions or as an anthropological entity.
In this artworks, immediacy and controlled fate have played a definite role, primitivism and sophistication had to be skillfully combined in the right proportion for the right balance to exist. Mountains, circumferences, snowmelt, spots, and so, are some of the elements included in this series.
